Apparently, this summer is turning into the summer of quick engagements. First, there was Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson and now Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are engaged. The two couples were only dating for a few weeks, maybe a month, before they were engaged.
Grande and Davidson were confirmed dating for a month before Grande was spotted with a huge ring on her finger. Baldwin and Bieber started dating for the second time for a little over a month before getting engaged. Everyone has had strong opinions about the quick engagements. Some people love the quick head over heels in love engagements.

But others are not here for the quick love and Grande isn’t here for those people. A fan tweeted about the two engagements and said that “the devil works hard but Scooter Braun works harder.”
Scooter Braun is both Bieber’s and Grande’s manager. But Grande is here to set the record straight that the double engagement is merely a coincidence. She responded to the tweet saying that Scooter is a “wonderful human” who also cares about his clients “health and happiness.” She then wishes the hater love because they deserve some.

Grande eventually deleted the tweet when she realized that the first tweet wasn’t a drag against Braun. Another fan account responded explaining the “devil works hard” joke.
“It was just a stan Twitter joke, we stan and love Scooter,” the fan explained. Grande responded acknowledging she messed up but then doubled down on her defense of Braun. “Be nice to that man. He’s wonderful. and very human,” she tweeted. “Always puts his artists’ health and happiness first.”

It just so happens that Bieber and Grande are both engaged and are both represented by Braun. It’s a funny coincidence, but based on GRande’s reaction it’s not for publicity. Love is in the air this summer, we wonder if more celeb couples will get engaged.
