Her costumes are easy to recreate you just need a blingy leotard, tights, teased hair, a scrunchie and some stage makeup.
2. Riverdale

Everyone loves Riverdale so expect a lot of Veronicas, Jugheads, Archies and Bettys walking around on Halloween. Searches for Riverdale costume ideas have jumped 361% this year. Betty and Jughead lead the other characters for searches.
3. 90s Icon

The 90s are back if you didn’t already know. From the whisperings of a Spice Girls reunion to the revival of old TV shows, lots of people will be dressed up as 90s icons this year. There was a 110% increase of 90s makeup in pins this year.
4. Wakanda Warrior

Black Panther broke tons of box office records this year so of course, people are going to dress up like the characters. Lyst reports that searches for Wakandan inspired costumes went up 504%.
5. Flamingos

Not super pop-culture based, but cute nonetheless. Last year it was unicorns, this year its flamingos. Searches for the pink and white bird shot up 105% with 77% pins saved.
6. Edna Mode

Pinterest shows that searches for the sassy superhero costume designer spiked 669% with a 38% increase in searches for round black glasses. You can easily recreate her look with a black wig, black glasses, black dress and black tights.

Time to re-watch the Mamma Mia movies as Halloween research. Thanks to the second Mamma Mia movie, searches for inspired costumes increased 1,636% since last year. Grab some overalls and a mic and you’ll be nearly set.

Space buns are back in a big way. Thanks to astrology and crystals people are down to dress up like a cosmic fairy this year. Pinterest searches for cosmic fairy inspiration went up 33% since last year.
