Kylie Jenner’s Topshop pop-ups are getting put through the ringer. Fans have been posting their experience at the pop-ups and the result is gross.

Tester products are gross, stained, empty and the applicator messed up. It’s not a good look for Kylie Cosmetics.

According to Revelist, YouTubers are exposing the poor state of the cosmetic pop-ups. Products that are used to help swatch the tester products, like single-use lip applicators and single-use eyeshadow brushes weren’t even available.

On top of the testers not being hygienic, multiple YouTubers said that the actual products to purchase were also poor quality. Products were opened and used and the packaging was damaged.

YouTuber Rich Lux shared a video encapsulating all of the Kylie pop-up drama. He experienced it first hand too in the pop-up at Houston. “I knew it was a mess and was thrown together,” he said or the pop-up.

“In the store, there was a bucket of picked through disgusting samples. All of the bottoms, like the stickers, were completely rubbed off,” YouTuber Halsey Is My Real Name said. “So I was swatching on my hand and I’d find a color I liked, but because the name was rubbed off I couldn’t match the swatch to a retail product that I wanted to buy because the name was rubbed off.” She went to the pop-up in Atlanta.

All of the products looked heavily picked through and the heavily used.

Kylie recently called her makeup line a luxury brand to justify how expensive her makeup brushes are. But with the poor quality of the pop-ups at multiple locations it’s hard to claim that Kylie Cosmetics is luxurious.
