If you haven’t jumped on the Cardi B train yet, well you’re the only one. Cardi is dominating the radio waves and the charts. Now Cardi has become the first woman artist, yeah that’s right FIRST, to have fives songs in the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart top 10. Not even Beyonce has done this before. I specifically mention Beyonce because before now, her and Cardi were the only women to have had four songs in the top 10 at the same time until right now when Cardi beat her to five.
The five songs of Cardi’s that are in the top 10 are, “Finesse” with Bruno Mars, “No Limit” with G-Eazy and ASAP Rocky, “Motorsport” with Migos and Nicki Minaj, her song “Bartier Cardi” featuring 21 Savage and last but not least, “Bodak Yellow.”

According to Billboard, the only other people who have also accomplished this feat is Drak, who had eight songs in the top 10 in 2016 and Kendrick Lamar in 2017. Cardi is the first woman to accomplish this feat, but she is the first person ever to have her first five chart entries to be in the top 10.

Ever since “Bodak Yellow” came out Cardi has been unstoppable. Her personal life is also on top of the world. She is currently engaged to Offset who is part of the rap trio Migos. She said that their wedding is going to cost $1 million.
Cardi and Bruno are performing “Finesse” at the Grammys. Cardi is also nominated for two Grammys, “Bodak Yellow” is up for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song.
This is the only the beginning of Cardi’s career and she is smashing the charts and breaking records.
