What day is it? It’s October 3rd.
It’s a holiday otherwise known as “Mean Girls Day.” As most of you already know, today is the day that Aaron Samuels asked Cady Heron what day it was, to which she replied, “It’s October 3rd.” We celebrate this day by wearing pink, stuffing our hair full of secrets, overusing the word “fetch,” eating lunch by ourselves in a bathroom stall, going to Taco Bell and as for me, I’ll be sitting in my calculus class waiting for a question where the limit does not exist (Although I don’t think my 1100-year-old professor will get the joke.)
It’s been over 13 years since this iconic movie came out. 13 years.
The star, Lindsay Lohan, is the only one who ever brings it up every other day of the year, but this day, everyone is here to celebrate.
But this year you can celebrate in a different way than ever before by buying tickets to the Broadway musical. Tickets go on sale at the 52nd St. venue in New York City. Fans will get show-branded merchandise, cheese fries, a ticket raffle and there will be some special guest appearances. The food truck serving the cheese fries will also make its way around Manhattan, handing out fries at Times Square and Union Square throughout the day.
But if you can’t make it to midtown Manhattan, these memes will just have to do.
Happy October 3rd everyone!
