Budget Stylista: I XOXO Anna Sui’s Gossip Girl Line for Target
I don’t watch Gossip Girl (gasp, shock, horror – I know.) But I do follow GG fashion. It’s cute, it’s fashion forward… and it’s so expensive I think my entire college tuition could be paid off in one of Blair’s Chanel ensembles. But regardless of price tag, I want it.

8 Under $20: The 15 Dollar Store
I just discovered The 15 Dollar Store online, where everything is (drumroll please)…15 buckaroos. They def have some cute stuff and even some brands like Romeo & Juliet Couture, Rampage and Chinese Laundry at 50% or more off! They sell everything from clothes to shoes to accessories and with the $15 price tag on all items, there’s no need to feel guilty…

From StyleBakery: Shoes To Wear To Class
Let’s face it: Those UGGs aren’t earning you any style points, but you wear them anyway because they are comfy and they match everything. There are other footwear choices out there that are wearable, warm, and WAY cuter.

• Cute boots. Cheap price. Yay Target!
• Who’s excited for SATC 2?
• Emma Watson starts at Brown. Stalkers abound.
• Who needs 911 when you have Facebook? -
8 Under $20: American Eagle
Now that I’m back in school and broke thanks to a few trips to the bookstore, saving money is more essential than ever. But so is a brand new fall wardrobe! Luckily, American Eagle is a great stop for super comfy weekend/gym/off-to-class clothes on the cheap. There are always awesome deals to be had, and here are just a few of my favorite things.

Budget Stylista: These Boots Are Meant for Fabulosity
A great pair of fall boots may even rival the essential-ness of a great cardigan. Pair the two together and – shazam! – you’ve got yourself one fabulous looking outfit, even if what’s underneath resembles a burlap sack or something out of Heidi Montag’s closet.
-
Shopping Your Closet: Sexy Camisoles
A sexy camisole is a definite fashion staple for any woman’s closet. And I’m pretty sure we all have a few lying around that we can’t quite figure out how to wear. But bring those lacy numbers out, ladies, because they’re easy to wear for nearly every occasion. (Pretty much everything besides the gym. That would be weird.)

8 Under $20: Newport News
For a long time, I thought Newport News was a total “mom store” with terribly outdated and, well, momish stuff. Then, a few months ago I noticed some of their stuff in mags like Lucky, InStyle and Glamour and realized that they actually had some super cuteness going on.

8 Under $20: Old Navy
For many of you, school has already begun or will shortly, which means new additions to the wardrobe are necessary. Woohoo! But you don’t have to spend a lot to update that 2008 fall wardrobe. Old Navy is a great place to get cute basics at super reasonable prices.

The Budget Stylista: Stock Up On Denim
Credit it to the bad economy or credit it to the fashion gods wanting everyone to look GOOD in their denim (please no muffin tops thankyouvermuch), but right now the hottest trends in jeans are on sale sale sale sale SALE! 20% off here, $19.00 jeans there — and they’re cute!
-
8 Under $20: Forever 21
So as I write this, I’m sitting on my lanai (balcony) overlooking the beautiful, blue Maui ocean (yes, I’m on my first “real” vacay in years), which means I’m not particularly keen on scouring the internet for under $20 deals for long periods of time (not to mention, they’re only giving me an hour of free wifi). So where did I head? The mother of all cheap & trendy spots: Forever 21.

Budget Stylista: You Don’t Need The BF To Rock The BF Blazer
If it’s one thing I love for fall, it’s the boyfriend blazer. (Note: not the boyfriend…cuz I don’t got one.) Sure, cardigans are great, but sometimes you don’t want to look like your MOM. This season’s boyfriend blazer is a great option for those August-October months when it’s chilly out at night, but you don’t want to be schvitzing in a heavier sweater or coat.

8 Under $20: Charlotte Russe
This week we take another trip down cheap & trendy lane to Charlotte Russe. This is a great place to shop if you’re looking for affordable, well, anything. Hot evening looks, basic day looks, super sexy shoes, way cute accessories and everything in between – Ms. Charlotte has it all.

8 Under $20: Macy’s
So I know you’re thinking: “How can you get anything for under $20 at a department store like Macy’s?” I get it – sometimes I feel like I can’t even afford to breathe the air in that store and I am doomed to spend my life lusting for everything on the over-stuffed racks. But I’m here to tell you it’s not impossible.

The Budget Stylista: Don’t Be Fooled by the Rocks That I Got
Jewelry can make or break an outfit. This is fact. It’s a great way to spice up your usual uniform (jeans, black v-neck, black flats – I know it all too well), assuming, of course, that you don’t go overboard and look like you went shopping in your grandma’s closet (tchotchke heaven).

Budget Stylista: Hottie Handbags
If Carrie Bradshaw was literally going to be the lady who lived in her shoes, then I will be the lady who lived in her handbags. I guess the upside is that handbags are a lot roomier and more cushion-y than those 12 million pairs of Manolos Carrie rocked on a season to season basis.
